Work is Play

I started my new jobs this last week at Snowbasin and Diamond Peak, which has been a little crazy working 8-3 at the mountain and 4-8 at the shop 5 days a week but I love both jobs. Snowbasin has been really fun I work with some really neat people and I love teaching snowboarding, its really fun to watch kids learn how to ride, this last week I taught three or four lessons, mostly with grade schools that came up during the week and one private lesson with a really cute little 6 year old, which was a blast. It was nice on Saturday because it was snowy and I didnt have to teach but still got paid to go snowboard all morning...Could life be better?
Diamond Peak is fun too, I work mostly in sales there, and have been given the title of "snowboard expert" because its predominantly a ski shop and everybody skis that works there except me, so its kinda fun. I am living in a little ranch house basement in Eden and loving it so far. Its close to both jobs and in the country so I feel right at home, other than that life has been pretty good.

Jill talked me into it.

Im blogging, I have thought about it for a while and also contemplated whether or not I would have enough cool things to talk about, but then Jill reminded me that I do fun things all the time like crochet, can tomatoe soup and apple sauce, and move to Utah all by myself so here we are my blog. My most recent adventure was yesterday, I went to the Eden first ward to introduce myself to the bisphop and see if they could help find me a place to live up in the valley. I was late for church and had to sit in the front row in relief society, not fun, then during sunday school I moved back a few rows and sat by an older lady who ended up being the Bishops wive's mom, which I found out after we sat down in sacrament meeting and Sister Warens sat next to me. She invited me over after church for lunch and then to come to her moms house for her birthday dinner. Im super excited to move up that way and start my job!
